RCBS
The RCBS X Die Full Length Set for .300 Win Mag is purpose-built for serious reloaders who want precision and efficiency in one compact die set. If you're loading for your .300 Winchester Magnum and tired of the extra steps involved in traditional full-length sizing, this die set cuts down your process while maintaining the tight tolerances modern magnum cartridges demand. The X Die system centers on a unique mandrel design that works during the sizing stroke to control case neck growth and eliminate the need for additional trimming after your initial case trim.
What sets this die set apart is how the mandrel interacts with your case. As you push the case through the sizing process, the mandrel contacts the case mouth with extremely close tolerances—tight enough to prevent the neck wall thickening that happens with conventional sizing dies. The result is consistent case geometry from round to round, which translates to more uniform bullet seating and better shot-to-shot consistency downrange. After your first trim of 0.02 inches off maximum case length, the mandrel's geometry keeps subsequent case growth minimal, meaning you'll spend less time at the trimmer and more time at the range.
RCBS X Die sets are the choice for reloaders who understand that every step in the ammunition assembly process affects your final product. Whether you're loading match-grade ammunition for precision rifle shooting or preparing hunting rounds for your magnum, this die set delivers the control and repeatability serious shooters expect. Compatible with standard reloading presses, the X Die Full Length Set for .300 Win Mag fits into your existing setup without complications.

The X Die's mandrel contacts the case mouth during the sizing stroke with extremely close tolerances. This controls how much the case neck grows with each reloading cycle. After your initial trim of 0.02 inches off maximum case length, the mandrel's geometry keeps subsequent growth minimal, so you won't need to trim as often as you would with a conventional die set.
Yes. The RCBS X Die Full Length Set is designed to work with standard reloading press setups. No special equipment is required beyond your existing press.
A conventional full-length die can allow the case neck to thicken as the case is sized. The X Die's mandrel has extremely close tolerances to the case neck, preventing that thickening and controlling the growth rate during sizing. This results in more consistent case geometry from shot to shot.
The X Die's ability to maintain consistent case geometry makes it well-suited for precision and match-grade ammunition assembly. The reduced case growth and uniform neck dimensions from round to round support better load uniformity.
