RCBS
The RCBS Matchmaster Seater Die for 6.5mm Grendel is built for reloaders who refuse to compromise on concentricity and precision. This single-stage seating die uses case-hardened steel construction with precision-drilled and hand-polished internal surfaces to ensure your bullets seat at exacting tolerances—dial in one thousandth of an inch and that's exactly what you get. If you're loading ammunition for your Grendel build, whether for mid-range target work or hunting, the Matchmaster's engineering gives you the consistency that separates good loads from great ones.
What sets this seater apart is RCBS's exclusive loading window and bullet retention system. Instead of balancing a bullet precariously on the case mouth—a frustrating and sometimes dangerous practice—you simply drop the bullet into the window, and the internal sleeve catches and centers it perfectly. The bullet aligns with the case and guides into the seating stem with minimal resistance, delivering the concentric results that match-grade ammunition demands. The oversized micrometer adjustment knob features large letters and hash marks, making fine tuning intuitive even under shop lighting.
RCBS backs the Matchmaster line with a limited lifetime warranty and manufactures it in the USA. The deep blued finish isn't just for show—it's typical of the fit and polish you'd expect from a precision tool built to outlast countless reloading sessions. The die features a free-floating, self-centering seating stem and uses the standard 7/8"-14 thread common to most single-stage and turret presses.
| Caliber | 6.5mm Grendel |
| Die Type | Seater Die (single-stage) |
| Thread | 7/8"-14 |
| Material | Case-hardened steel |
| Finish | Deep blued |

Yes, as long as your press accepts standard 7/8"-14 threaded dies. This includes most single-stage and turret presses. Confirm your press thread size before ordering.
The RCBS loading window lets you drop the bullet safely into a retention sleeve that centers it automatically. You don't have to balance the bullet on the case mouth or risk your fingers. The internal sleeve guides the bullet and case into perfect alignment during seating for better concentricity.
This is a seater die only. You'll need a sizing die (full-length or neck-size, sold separately) to prepare your 6.5mm Grendel brass before seating.
The oversized micrometer dial is calibrated for one-thousandth-of-an-inch increments. Turn it one mark and you'll move the seating depth by exactly 0.001 inch, giving you the fine control needed for match-grade ammunition.
