RCBS
The RCBS Matchmaster Competition Neck Bushing Set for 6.5mm PRC gives competitive shooters and precision reloaders the fine control they need to build match-grade ammunition. This neck-sizing die set includes both the sizing die and bullet seating die—everything you need to get started with the Matchmaster system, though you'll need to source your neck bushings separately to dial in your preferred neck tension. Built from case-hardened steel with precision-drilled and hand-polished internal surfaces, Matchmaster dies are engineered to the exacting standards that benchrest and long-range competitors have trusted for decades.
The real advantage of the Matchmaster neck bushing approach is precision and case longevity. By using interchangeable neck bushings, you control exactly how much tension the die applies to your brass—allowing you to tune neck fit without full-length sizing that work-hardens cases faster. The included Titanium Carbo Nitride expander minimizes brass buildup and ensures smooth extraction, extending case life further. For 6.5mm PRC wildcat and competition loads, that controlled neck tension translates to tighter velocity spreads and better group consistency at distance.
The seating die is where the Matchmaster system really shines for serious reloaders. The large micrometer adjustment knob with oversized markings lets you dial in seating depth to the thousandth of an inch—and you'll get exactly what you set. The integrated bullet loading window and internal retention system eliminate the fumbling and safety issues of balancing bullets on case mouths; just drop the bullet in, and the die guides it into perfect alignment as you run the press. The result is concentricity that matters when you're chasing tight groups.
This is a USA-made set backed by RCBS's limited lifetime warranty. If you're working up match ammunition or long-range hunting loads in 6.5mm PRC and you want to control variables systematically, the Matchmaster neck bushing set is built for that precision work.

Yes. The Matchmaster die set is designed to work with interchangeable neck bushings, which are sold separately. This allows you to select the bushing size that gives you your preferred neck tension for your specific brass and bullet combination.
The Matchmaster system was developed for benchrest and long-range precision shooting, so it's well-suited to either discipline. The neck bushing approach and bullet seating window are designed to produce the consistency and concentricity that competitive and long-range hunters demand.
The micrometer adjustment on the seating die allows you to dial in seating depth to one thousandth of an inch. Once set, the die will repeat that measurement with each round.
The integrated loading window and internal bullet retention system let you drop the bullet straight into the case and run the press without balancing it on the case mouth. This improves both safety and seating concentricity because the die's internal sleeve guides the bullet into perfect alignment during the seating stroke.
