RCBS
The RCBS 16501 full-length 2-die set is purpose-built for reloading 35 Remington bottleneck rifle cartridges. This is the core setup that gets the job done—one full-length sizing die to prep fired cases and one seater die to seat bullets precisely. If you're stepping into handloading for your .35 Rem rifle, or you've already shot through a few barrels and need fresh dies, this is a time-tested foundation that handles the critical work of case preparation and bullet seating.
The full-length sizing die does the heavy lifting: it bumps the shoulder, sizes the body so your cases chamber smoothly, and decaps spent primers all in one motion. You'll need to lubricate cases before sizing, and a cartridge headspace gage is worth using to dial in the shoulder bump for your setup. The expander ball inside the die sizes the neck to proper tension for your loaded rounds. The included seater die handles bullet seating with a built-in crimp ring—adjust your press height to engage or skip the crimp depending on your preference. RCBS full-length die sets are built to last through multiple barrel lives, making them a sensible choice for serious handloaders who reload the same cartridge repeatedly.
This is the kind of setup that rewards you for learning the reloading process correctly from the start. Take time to understand how to adjust these dies properly, and you'll have reliable ammunition for years of shooting. New reloaders especially benefit from starting with a full-length 2-die set before exploring specialized techniques or additional tooling.

Yes. You control whether the crimp ring engages by raising or lowering the die in your press—simple to switch between crimped and non-crimped loads.
