The Rapala Ott Garage Rocco 05 Bream is a diving crankbait built from the workshop experience of professional angler Ott DeFoe. This hard bait combines buoyant balsa construction with a square lip design, giving it a balanced casting profile and a rolling retrieve action that appeals to bream and panfish. Whether you're working shallow cover or open water, the Rocco's design deflects off structure and handles tight situations—exactly the kind of lure a garage craftsman would build for real fishing, not just the tackle box shelf.
What sets the OG Series apart is its foundation in practical angling rather than marketing trends. DeFoe's background customizing lures as a professional informed every detail: the buoyancy, the lip geometry, and the medium rolling action that triggers strikes without demanding a perfectly smooth retrieve. This is a lure that earns its place in your box because it delivers, not because of hype.
The Rocco 05 works best for anglers targeting bream in areas where castability and deflection matter—around fallen timber, dock pilings, weed edges, and anywhere cover can turn a cast into a lost fish. The square lip cuts through the water column efficiently while the balsa body keeps the lure responsive to rod work and current changes. Pair it with appropriate tackle for your target species and water conditions.
