The Radians CP0100CS Competitor ear muffs deliver serious hearing protection for shooters, hunters, and range-goers who demand both comfort and reliable noise reduction. With a 26 dB NRR (Noise Reduction Rating), these over-the-head muffs are built to handle the impulse noise of centerfire rifles, shotguns, and handguns while keeping your hearing safe during extended shooting sessions. The adjustable headband ensures a secure, customized fit whether you're at the bench, in the field, or running drills at the range.

Construction matters when you're counting on ear protection day after day. The Competitor muffs are engineered with durability in mind, so they hold up to regular use and the inevitable bumps of hunting camp or range bag life. Black finish keeps them neutral and professional-looking.

If you're serious about hearing conservation—and you should be—solid passive ear protection like the CP0100CS is a non-negotiable foundation. Pair them with foam plugs for shooting events where you want maximum protection, or wear them solo for hunting and outdoor work where you still need ambient awareness. One pair covers you for years of responsible shooting.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a 26 dB NRR mean for shooting?

NRR (Noise Reduction Rating) measures how much sound the muffs reduce in decibels. A 26 dB NRR is solid protection for shooting environments with impulse noise from firearms. For best results, many shooters combine ear muffs with foam earplugs to reach even higher protection levels.

Are these ear muffs adjustable?

Yes. The Radians CP0100CS features an adjustable headband that lets you dial in a comfortable, secure fit whether you have a larger or smaller head.

Can I wear these over a baseball cap or hat?

The over-the-head design works with most hats, though fit and comfort will depend on your specific headwear. The adjustable band helps accommodate different configurations.
