The Radian Weapons Raptor AR-15/M16 charging handle is built for shooters who want speed and control on the gun. Machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished in mil-spec hard coat anodize, the Raptor's extended ambidextrous levers let you rack the bolt smoothly and fast from either the strong or support side—whether you're using your palm, thumb, or fingers. It's the kind of upgrade that makes a real difference when you need it, and it ships paired with the Talon 45/90 ambidextrous safety selector for a complete controls overhaul.

The Talon safety is where things get clever. It uses a modular design that lets you choose between a standard 90-degree throw or a short-throw 45-degree config by simply rotating the shaft 180 degrees inside your lower receiver—no gunsmithing required. The selector levers mount via a precision dovetail interface with a spring-loaded retention stud, so they stay put without screws to back out or snap. Compatible with most AR-15 and AR-10/SR25-pattern rifles, plus MCX and MPX platforms, so you've got options if you run multiple gun types.

Both the charging handle and safety are designed and built in the USA. The gray anodized finish is durable and subdued, and if you want color options down the road, Radian offers Cerakote finishes. This is a practical, made-in-America upgrade for shooters who shoot often and want controls that work as hard as they do.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this charging handle and safety work on my AR-15?

Yes. The Raptor charging handle and Talon safety are both compatible with mil-spec AR-15 rifles. The Talon also works on AR-10, SR25, MCX, and MPX platforms if you run any of those.

Can I switch between 45-degree and 90-degree safety throw?

Yes. The Talon is modular—you can switch throw angles by rotating the center shaft 180 degrees inside your lower receiver. No tools or disassembly of the lower is required.

Do the safety levers require screws to install?

No. The Talon levers use a precision dovetail interface with a spring-loaded retention stud that locks them in place. There are no screws, so nothing can back out or break loose.

What's included in this combo?

You get the Raptor charging handle and the Talon 45/90 ambidextrous safety selector as a two-piece set.
