Primary Weapons Systems
The Primary Weapons Systems UXR ELT conversion kit in .223 Wylde with a 16-inch barrel is built for shooters who want genuine modularity without the complexity or premium price tag. This conversion kit leverages PWS's XChange system to let you swap calibers on the same platform by changing the barrel, bolt, and magwell—no gunsmith required. It's the practical answer for hunters and shooters who want to tune a single rifle to different roles: varmint work with .223 Wylde, or pivot to another caliber down the road as your needs evolve.
The XChange system is designed around a dot-matching interface—line up the dots on your components and you're locked in, eliminating guesswork during transitions. That user-focused design philosophy carries through the whole kit. PWS precision barrels are made in-house and engineered for sub-MOA accuracy with quality ammunition, so you're not sacrificing performance for versatility. The 16-inch barrel strikes a balance between velocity and handling, making it equally at home in a carbine-length build or a compact rifle configuration.
This is modularity for the real world: you get the flexibility to experiment with calibers and barrel lengths without reinventing your entire rifle or dropping serious cash. PWS has signaled plans to expand the XChange catalog, so the platform is built to grow with you. Whether you're a precision shooter, a hunter stacking different tools in your safe, or someone who simply wants one rifle that can do more, the UXR ELT conversion kit delivers straightforward, effective module-swapping without the complications.
