The PTR 91 A3Sk .308 Win rifle is a semi-automatic modern sporting rifle built on proven roller-delayed blowback operation and engineered specifically to meet New Jersey's firearms regulations without compromise on functionality or reliability. If you're a .308 shooter in NJ looking for a platform with real military heritage and the ergonomics of a modern tactical rifle, the A3Sk delivers both—in a 16-inch barreled package that balances firepower with practical handling in tight spaces or from a vehicle.
This isn't a neutered compliance build that feels like a workaround. PTR Industries designed the A3Sk around the fixed compensator and 10-round magazine capacity required by NJ law, so you get a rifle that functions as an integrated whole rather than a collection of afterthoughts. The 16-inch barrel keeps overall length to 38.5 inches—compact enough for truck racks and cabin storage, yet long enough to deliver the velocity and ballistic performance you expect from .308. The 1-in-10 barrel twist stabilizes standard and heavier match-grade ammunition across the full spectrum of .308 loads.
Weighing 9.3 pounds, the PTR 91 A3Sk sits light enough for field use or range days without fatigue, but heavy enough to manage recoil and vibration. The trigger breaks at 9–10 pounds—firm and predictable, ideal for deliberate shooting whether you're sighting in at 100 yards or working accuracy drills. Semi-automatic operation only, of course, as NJ law requires, but the mechanical simplicity and durability of roller-delayed blowback means fewer moving parts to wear and maintain.
If you hunt in or travel through New Jersey with a .308, or simply want a no-fuss NJ-legal rifle that respects both the law and your shooting skill, the PTR 91 A3Sk is built to go to work.
