Promag
The Promag 50-round 9mm drum magazine for Sig P228 is built for shooters who want serious capacity without swapping mags. Whether you're running drills at the range, competing, or setting up for home defense, this drum gives you half a hundred rounds of 9mm in a single magazine—that's fewer reloads and more time on target. The polymer construction keeps it lightweight, while the stainless steel spring and steel upper tower handle the pressure of a full load without compromise.
Promag engineered this magazine from the ground up for the P228, so it feeds reliably and seats securely in your frame. The injection-molded follower keeps rounds stacked cleanly all the way down, and the DuPont Zytel polymer body resists wear and environmental damage. It's a working magazine for serious use, not a gimmick—whether you're a competitive shooter, a trainer, or someone who values the margin that extra capacity provides.
Made in the USA, this drum magazine is a practical upgrade for P228 owners who've outgrown standard single-stack capacity. It's heavier when fully loaded (as you'd expect with 50 rounds), but that weight trades for independence from the reload line.

Yes. This Promag drum is engineered specifically for the Sig Sauer P228 9mm pistol and seats and feeds in that platform.
The body is constructed from DuPont Zytel polymer, a durable injection-molded material. The upper tower is blue steel, and the spring is heat-treated stainless steel for strength and longevity.
The design uses a stainless steel spring and injection-molded follower to feed rounds consistently. Like any high-capacity magazine, performance depends on proper maintenance and load rotation, but it's built for serious use.
Yes, this Promag drum magazine is manufactured in the USA.
