Promag
The Pro Mag 1911 Government .45 ACP 40-round drum magazine brings high-capacity firepower to your Government-frame pistol without sacrificing reliability. Built from a proprietary polymer base reinforced with steel internals, this drum magazine handles the demands of competition shooting, training, and range time where extra rounds mean fewer magazine changes and more trigger time.
Pro Mag engineered this drum with a hybrid construction approach: the housing uses a durable, impact-resistant polymer compound, while the magazine upper tower incorporates a full-length steel internal insert stamped and welded using the same methods as factory magazines. The result is a magazine that balances weight savings with the strength needed to handle sustained fire and repeated loading cycles.
The drum's injection-molded follower and heat-treated stainless steel spring work together to feed rounds reliably through the mag tube. Pro Mag stands behind their work with a lifetime guarantee against manufacturer defects, and the entire magazine is made in the USA. Whether you're running a .45 at the range, testing a new load, or building your spare magazine collection, this 40-rounder gives you the capacity to shoot longer between reloads.
