Promag
The ProMag FN FAL .308 Win 50-round drum magazine brings serious capacity to your FAL platform rifle without breaking the bank. If you run an FN FAL in 7.62×51mm/.308 Winchester and want to minimize reload frequency at the range or in the field, this drum delivers double the rounds of a standard mag in one unit. It's built right here in the USA with proven materials and backed by ProMag's lifetime manufacturer warranty against defects.
Construction matters with high-capacity drums, and ProMag engineered this one with durability in mind. The magazine body is molded from a proprietary DuPont Zytel-based polymer that resists cracking under stress and repeated use. The upper tower is steel for strength at the feed lips and interaction points—the spots that take the most punishment. Inside, the follower is injection molded to maintain consistent geometry, and the spring is formed from heat-treated stainless steel wire, precision-wound to deliver reliable feeding across the full 50-round range.
ProMag's manufacturing process includes multiple quality checkpoints during assembly to catch issues before the mag ships. That attention to detail translates to fewer feed-related headaches and more time actually shooting. Whether you're working up loads at a distance or want extended trigger time without constant reloading, this drum magazine is a practical upgrade for FAL shooters who value capacity and American-made reliability.

Yes. This ProMag drum is designed specifically for the FN FAL in 7.62×51mm (.308 Winchester). As long as your FAL has a standard magazine well, this drum will fit and function.
The DuPont Zytel-based polymer body provides overall strength and crack resistance throughout the magazine housing. The steel upper tower reinforces the feed lips and interaction points—areas that experience the most stress during loading, feeding, and extraction cycles. This two-material approach balances weight, durability, and cost.
The magazine spring is formed from heat-treated stainless steel wire, which resists corrosion and maintains spring tension over many cycles of use.
ProMag backs this magazine with a lifetime guarantee against manufacturer's defects in materials and workmanship.
