Pro-Shot
A Pro-Shot 17/177 cal rifle bore brush built with nylon bristles and a brass core is a dependable choice for cleaning and maintaining rimfire and centerfire rifles in these calibers. The nylon bristles are gentle enough on modern rifling while still effectively removing fouling and debris, and the brass core won't damage your barrel if it makes contact with the steel. Whether you're breaking in a new rifle, maintaining accuracy between hunting trips, or keeping your range gun in top condition, this brush handles the job without the risk of steel-core brushes.
The 5-40" thread fits standard rifle rod systems, making it compatible with most popular cleaning rod setups. Nylon bristles with brass construction are recommended by several rifle manufacturers for barrel care, so you're using the approach they trust. It's a no-frills tool that does exactly what it's supposed to: scrub out powder residue, lead, and copper fouling from your bore efficiently.
If you're serious about rifle maintenance—whether you're a precision shooter, a hunter who cleans after every trip, or someone who just wants to keep their guns running right—a quality bore brush is non-negotiable. This Pro-Shot brush is the kind of workhorse tool that earns a permanent spot in your cleaning kit and pays for itself in the longer life of your barrels.
