Primos
The Primos Turkey Caller Starter Pack (Model 272) brings together three different calling techniques in one convenient bundle, giving you everything needed to work turkeys effectively from your first season onward. Whether you're new to turkey hunting or looking to round out your call collection, this three-pack pairs a Sonic Dome mouth call, Sonic Dome slate call, and double-sided box call—letting you match your approach to changing conditions and bird mood throughout the season.
Turkey hunting demands versatility. Mouth calls let you keep both hands free for your gun; slate calls reward subtle touch and control; box calls produce aggressive, confident yelps and cuts. Having all three in your vest means you're not locked into one sound or technique. The included Slim Striker works with the slate call to help you dial in the exact tone and cadence that will draw birds in on any given morning.
This pack works equally well for hunters who are still figuring out which call style suits them best and for experienced hands who know they need redundancy and options in the field. Turkey season is short and unpredictable—the more calls you can run confidently, the better your odds on a gobbler that's locked up, henned, or reluctant to commit.
Yes. This three-pack introduces you to the three main call types used in turkey hunting, so you can experiment with different sounds and find what works best for your style and comfort level.
The mouth call frees both hands for gun control and produces quick, responsive sounds. The slate call gives you precise control over tone and cadence with a striker. The box call delivers loud, aggressive yelps and cuts and is often the easiest to learn first.
The pack includes everything you need to start: all three calls and the Slim Striker for the slate call. You may want to carry a second striker or explore different striker materials over time, but you're ready to hunt out of the box.
