Primos
The Primos PS323 Raspy Coaxer is a dual-purpose predator call that lets you switch between two distinct game sounds with a simple change in blowing technique. Built for hunters who need versatility in the field, this green plastic call reproduces both rabbit screams for long-range attraction and the whines and whimpers of injured rodents for close-range coaxing. Whether you're working coyotes, foxes, bobcats, or other predators, having two calls in one keeps your pack light and your options open when conditions demand a quick sound change.
The Raspy Coaxer's design is straightforward and effective. To produce the rabbit scream, blow into the mouthpiece while covering the rodent coaxer voice hole—a piercing, long-range call that grabs attention across distance. Switch to rodent sounds by covering the barrel end instead and blowing; this mode creates the desperate squeaks and whimpers of wounded prey that pull predators in close for the shot. The construction is tough enough for serious hunting while remaining simple to operate, even with gloved hands in cold weather.
If you hunt predators year-round or need to adapt quickly to what's working on any given day, the dual-sound design eliminates the need to carry multiple calls. The green plastic body is durable and built to withstand repeated use in brush, rain, and rough handling. This is the kind of call that earns a permanent spot in your predator hunting pack.
The call uses two different blowing techniques. For the rabbit scream, blow into the mouthpiece while covering the rodent coaxer voice hole. For the rodent whines and whimpers, cover the end of the barrel and blow instead. This simple method lets you swap sounds without putting the call down.
The call is designed to attract predators that hunt rabbits and rodents, including coyotes, foxes, and bobcats. The exact predators in your area will depend on your region and season.
Yes. Since it relies on simple blowing technique changes and hand positioning rather than buttons or fine motor controls, it works well even when you're wearing heavy gloves or dealing with cold fingers.
