Primos
The Primos Rare Breed PS2905 turkey pot call pairs an anodized aluminum surface with a wood cup and sounding board to deliver the loud, clear yelps and cuts that cut through heavy timber and reach reluctant gobblers. Unlike slate or glass calls, the aluminum surface produces bolder high pitches without any break-in period—it's ready to call right out of the box. Whether you're working a distant Tom or trying to trigger a response from a quiet bird, this pot call is built to project sound and coax birds your way.
The design reflects how real turkey hunters work their birds. The outer edges of the rounded cup generate sharp yelps, cuts, and clucks for aggressive calling sequences, while tones toward the middle deliver lower, deeper sounds for hens or softer vocalizations. The comfortable, contoured cup fits naturally in your hand so you can focus on rhythm and cadence instead of fighting the call. A single-piece CNC-milled striker completes the package.
Durability matters in the field. The anodized aluminum surface stands up to wet grass, morning dew, and the occasional rain without losing tone or requiring restoration. If moisture, dirt, or hand oils accumulate, a quick wipe with an alcohol swab restores the call to full function. Made in the USA, the Rare Breed is built to last season after season in whatever conditions the turkey woods throw at you.

Aluminum produces louder and bolder high pitches, making it easier to reach distant or quiet gobblers. Unlike slate, it requires no conditioning and is the most weather-resistant option—just wipe it clean if it gets wet or soiled and you're ready to call again.
No. The anodized aluminum surface is ready to call out of the box. There's no conditioning period like you'd need with slate or glass.
The Rare Breed PS2905 comes with the pot call and a single-piece CNC-milled striker. You're ready to hunt right away.
The anodized aluminum surface is highly weather-resistant. If your call gets wet, rain-soaked, or oily from handling or dirt, simply wipe it with an alcohol wipe, let it dry, and continue calling. No permanent damage or loss of tone.
