Primos
The Primos PS109 True Triple Diaphragm Call is a triple reed turkey call built for serious hunters who've mastered mouth calling fundamentals. This is a tool for experienced callers looking to produce aggressive, high-volume turkey sounds—cutting, yelping, and cackles—with a distinctly raspy character that reaches out and commands attention across the field. The Piggy Back design stacks three separate frames, each fitted with a single thin prophylactic reed, giving you tonal flexibility and the ability to dial in everything from subtle vocalizations to spine-rattling volume.
What sets the True Triple apart is its engineering: each reed sits in its own frame, separated by 1/16" spacing that prevents the reeds from adhering to one another during use. This separation is critical—it ensures consistent performance and lets you work the call without worrying about reeds binding up mid-sequence. The thinness of each reed contributes to that raspy, aggressive voice the call is known for, making it a proven choice for hunters pursuing mature toms that respond to confident, dominant calling.
This isn't an entry-level call. The True Triple demands technique and understanding of turkey vocalization. If you've been running diaphragm calls and want to step into a setup that rewards refinement and aggression in equal measure, this is built for you.
