Phase 5
The Phase 5 Dual Latch Charging Handle for AR-15 in Flat Dark Earth is built for shooters who want genuine ambidextrous control without compromise. Unlike traditional single-side designs, the dual latch setup puts pull-style latches on both the left and right, so you can charge from either shoulder, with either hand, and never fumble for the handle again. Whether you're running a scope that sits high on the upper receiver, wearing heavy gloves in cold weather, or simply prefer to shoot off your non-dominant side, this charging handle is engineered to work when it matters.
Phase 5 upgraded the internal hardware with stainless coiled spring pins and thickened sidewalls throughout—the kind of durability upgrades that show up after thousands of rounds and rough handling. The oversized contact points on both latches give you positive purchase even with cold fingers or tactical gloves, and the Cerakote Flat Dark Earth finish resists corrosion and blends with most modern AR builds. This is the refinement of a proven design, not a first-generation experiment.
Drop-in compatible with standard AR-15 upper receivers, the DLCH15 is a straightforward swap for your factory handle. If you've ever reached for a charging handle in an awkward position or wished you had more hand purchase in a dynamic shooting scenario, this is the kind of detail upgrade that pays dividends on the range or in the field.

Yes. The oversized dual latches are designed to work around optics mounted on the upper receiver, so you won't have clearance or access issues even with a scope in place.
Both sides are full-featured pull-style latches, making this a true ambidextrous design. You can charge from either side with equal ease.
The oversized contact points provide significantly more surface area and purchase, which is especially noticeable when wearing gloves or operating in cold conditions where dexterity is compromised.
This handle features stainless coiled spring pins and thickened sidewalls, upgrades that improve durability and performance under repeated heavy use and extreme conditions.
