The Pard Sphinx LRF (SP3-35/LRF) is a dual-purpose thermal imaging system that functions both as a rifle-mounted scope and handheld unit, giving you versatile thermal reconnaissance and hunting capability in a single package. Built around an uncooled vanadium oxide sensor with 384×288 resolution and 50Hz refresh rate, this thermal scope delivers real-time imaging in total darkness, fog, rain, and smoke—conditions where conventional optics fail. The 3.5× optical magnification pairs with 2×, 4×, and 8× digital zoom to let you glass terrain at distance and close in on targets without losing image clarity.
What sets the Sphinx LRF apart is the integrated laser rangefinder—effective to 1000 meters (1200 yards)—combined with a ballistic calculator that translates range data into firing solutions. The onboard IREA image engine processes thermal data through multiple imaging modes (White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Fusion variants, and Iron Red), and you can select from six reticle patterns in red, white, yellow, or green to match your preference and lighting. Picture-in-picture capability lets you monitor a wider field while zooming into a detail area, and self-motivated recording automatically captures footage when motion is detected. A mechanical shutter preserves lens clarity and extends sensor life.
The system runs on two battery types: an 18650 lithium-ion cell powers the scope body, while the detachable handheld unit uses a 26650 or 21700 battery—both standard formats easy to source in the field. Operating time reaches approximately 6 hours per charge. IP67 weatherproofing and aluminum alloy construction handle recoil up to 6000 joules and operate reliably from –20°C to 50°C. Capture stills as JPEG (up to 2592×1944 pixels) or video in MP4 format (1280×720) to a microSD card (up to 128GB), and pair the unit with the PardVision app via USB Type-C or WiFi for remote review and firmware updates.
Whether you're hunting hogs and predators at night, conducting property surveillance, or running tactical drills, the Sphinx LRF combines the detection reach of thermal imaging with the precision of rangefinding and ballistics—all in a rugged, field-proven package.

Yes. The Sphinx LRF is designed to function both as a scope mount and as a standalone handheld unit. The detachable handheld component uses its own 26650 or 21700 lithium-ion battery, making it practical for surveillance, glassing, or reconnaissance independent of a rifle platform.
The scope body runs on an 18650 lithium-ion battery, while the handheld unit uses either a 26650 or 21700 lithium-ion cell. Operating time is approximately 6 hours per charge. Both are standard battery formats, so spares are readily available. The unit also supports USB Type-C charging and an external power supply for extended operations.
