A slip-on recoil pad designed for shooters who want to tame magnum recoil without permanently altering their rifle. The Pachmayr Decelerator Magnum Slip-On is sized small and made of black rubber, fitting popular synthetic stocks on hunting rifles and tactical platforms alike. Instead of bedding a permanent pad to your gun, this slip-on option lets you add shock absorption on demand—ideal if you shoot multiple rifles or want to preserve your firearm's original look and resale value.

The pad features Pachmayr's patented Speed-Mount insert system, which sets it apart from generic slip-on designs. The Decelerator compound is engineered to absorb and dissipate impact energy, helping reduce shooter fatigue during extended sessions at the range or in the field. Installation is straightforward: slide it onto the stock's end and you're ready to shoot. This approach works equally well on vintage rifles and modern synthetics, whether your stock is solid black or camo-finished.

Recoil management matters, especially with magnum cartridges that demand respect. A quality pad reduces felt recoil, helping you stay on target and manage follow-up shots more effectively. The Decelerator Magnum is built to absorb hard-hitting loads without compromise, making it a practical choice for hunters pushing magnum calibers and shooters who refuse to flinch their way through a shooting session.

Frequently Asked Questions

What guns does the small slip-on recoil pad fit?

The small size is designed for popular synthetic rifle stocks. Measure your stock's diameter at the butt end or check your rifle's manual to confirm the fit before ordering. Because this is a slip-on design, proper sizing is important.

Can I use a slip-on pad instead of a glued-on recoil pad?

Yes. This pad offers the advantage of being removable and non-permanent. You can slide it on when shooting magnum loads and take it off when you don't need it, without affecting your rifle's finish or resale value.

Does the Decelerator pad work on magnum calibers?

The Decelerator Magnum is specifically designed to handle hard-hitting magnum cartridges. The patented Decelerator compound absorbs and disperses recoil energy to help reduce felt recoil and shooter fatigue.

How do I install the Pachmayr Speed-Mount slip-on pad?

Installation is simple: slide the pad onto the end of your rifle's stock. The patented Speed-Mount insert system keeps it secure without tools or adhesives.
