Otis Technology
The Otis FGGMDT Disassembly Tool Magazine Plate is a compact, purpose-built tool for anyone who takes magazine maintenance seriously. Whether you're running Glock pistols for duty, competition, or self-defense, keeping your mags clean and springs fresh is basic preventive maintenance—and this tool makes that job straightforward. Designed specifically for standard Glock magazines, it safely removes the base plate without marring the finish or damaging the magazine body, letting you access the spring and follower for cleaning, inspection, or replacement.
Field stripping a magazine isn't complicated, but it's easy to slip and gouge the plate or body if you use the wrong approach. The Otis design takes the guesswork out of it. Pop the base plate off, clean out the crud, swap a worn spring if needed, and reassemble. It's the kind of simple tool that pays for itself the first time it saves you from scratching up a quality mag.
Keep in mind this tool is built for standard Glock magazines only—it won't work with Glock 30-round magazines or extended base plate types. If your carry or range setup sticks to factory-standard mags, you're all set. The tool comes in black and fits easily in a range bag, cleaning kit, or workbench drawer.
