The Otis FG70125 Patriot Cleaning Kit for .223 Rem rifle is a purpose-built maintenance system that handles everything from breech to muzzle on your AR-15 or other .223/5.56mm platform. Whether you're a competitive shooter, hunter, or tactical operator, keeping your rifle clean extends accuracy and reliability—and this kit gives you the right tools without the premium price tag. Made in the USA, it's affordable enough to own one for every rifle in your safe.
What sets the Patriot kit apart is its thoughtful engineering. The included multi-tool functions as both a T-handle and a driver for four interchangeable bits, eliminating the need for separate tool purchases. The Memory-Flex cable with slotted tip lets you adapt cleaning stroke to bore geometry, while the caliber-specific bronze bore brush cuts through powder fouling and carbon buildup effectively. A double-ended AP brush tackles the tight spaces where deposits hide, and the curved and straight chamber brush with locking lug picks lets you properly clean the chamber and locking lug recesses—areas that often get missed but directly affect reliability.
The kit ships in a durable yellow plastic case, organizing all 15 pieces so they're grab-and-go ready on range day or at the cleaning bench. This is no-nonsense rifle maintenance: you get caliber-specific brushes, the bits and handles you need, and nothing superfluous. If you run multiple .223 rifles, the per-gun cost makes it practical to keep a kit dedicated to each gun rather than swapping gear between them.

Yes. The Patriot series is caliber-specific, so each kit is designed for one caliber or gauge. If you shoot .223, .308, 12-gauge, and other cartridges, you'd need a separate Patriot kit for each. The affordable price makes this practical.
The kit contains 15 pieces: a multi-tool that functions as a T-handle and bit driver, four interchangeable bits, a Memory-Flex cable with slotted bore tip, a bronze bore brush, a double-ended AP brush, curved and straight chamber brushes, and locking lug picks. All components are organized in a yellow plastic carrying case.
The compact case and complete tool set make this suitable for both field maintenance and bench cleaning. The portable design lets you take it to the range or keep it in your gear bag for cleaning on the go.
