Cleaning a rimfire or centerfire pistol the right way starts with the right tools—and a 45 ACP pierce point brass jag is one of those essentials serious shooters don't overlook. The Otis 45 ACP Pierce Point Brass Jag is a caliber-specific cleaning attachment designed to work with 8-32 threaded rods, ensuring your patches seat properly in the bore and stay centered as you push them through. Whether you're breaking in a new 1911, maintaining a service pistol, or keeping a defensive carry gun in top condition, a quality jag makes the job faster and more effective.
The pointed design isn't just for show—it keeps your patch perfectly aligned with the bore so you get even contact and consistent cleaning pressure. Once you've pushed the jag out the muzzle, the patch releases cleanly instead of bunching up or binding. That means less hassle and fewer stuck patches when you're working the rod back and forth. And because it's solid brass, you're not risking scratches, dings, or bore damage that can happen with steel or aluminum tools rubbing against your rifling.
Made in the USA, this jag is a straightforward, no-frills component that works with any standard 8-32 cleaning rod in your kit. It's not fancy, but it's exactly what a serious shooter or gunsmith needs to keep a 45 ACP running clean. Drop it into your range bag or cleaning kit and you're set.

The Otis 45 ACP Pierce Point Brass Jag works with any cleaning rod that has an 8-32 thread size. Check your existing rod to confirm the thread spec before purchasing.
This jag is caliber-specific to .45 ACP. For other .45 caliber firearms, verify bore diameter compatibility before use to ensure proper patch fit.
Solid brass is softer than steel and won't scratch or damage the bore, rifling, or crown of your barrel—a key concern when using cleaning tools inside a precision firearm.
You receive one solid brass jag. The cleaning rod, patches, and solvents are sold separately.
