The Noveske OR SLD Slide for Glock 19 Gen 3 transforms your duty or carry pistol into a modern optics-ready platform without sacrificing the option to run traditional iron sights. Built for shooters who want flexibility—whether you're setting up for competition, duty use, or personal defense—this direct mount slide lets you choose between a mounted red dot and a co-witness rear sight configuration, giving you the best of both worlds.

Noveske engineered this slide around the direct mount optics platform, eliminating the need for separate adapter plates while maintaining Glock's proven reliability. The slide arrives complete with everything you need to get running: a front sight, a cover plate with integrated rear sight, and an end plate bearing the Noveske logo. This is a drop-in upper that respects the Gen 3 Glock 19's footprint and tolerances, so you're not retrofitting or improvising—it's a purpose-built system.

If you're tired of compromise—forced to choose between a clean optics platform or backup iron sights—this slide solves that problem. Run a red dot for speed and accuracy, keep your iron sights in the fight as backup, and maintain the familiar manual-of-arms your training demands. It's the kind of upgrade that modernizes a reliable gun without reinventing the wheel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this Noveske slide work on my Gen 3 Glock 19?

Yes—this slide is engineered specifically for the Glock 19 Gen 3 and maintains full compatibility with Gen 3 lower receivers and components.

Can I use both an optic and iron sights with this slide?

Yes. The direct mount platform accepts a mounted red dot, and the included cover plate features an integrated rear sight, allowing you to co-witness irons for backup.

What comes in the box with the slide?

The slide ships with a front sight, a cover plate with rear sight, and an end plate. You'll need a Glock 19 Gen 3 lower receiver and standard internal parts to complete the pistol.

Is this slide optics-specific, or can I run it without a red dot?

You can run it with or without an optic. The rear sight cover plate allows traditional iron-sight shooting if you choose not to mount a red dot.
