Nosler
The Nosler RDF Match Bullets in 6mm .243" 105 grain HPBT are engineered for competitive shooters and handloaders who demand precision. RDF stands for Reduced Drag Factor—Nosler's purpose-built match bullet line designed to deliver flat trajectories, minimal wind deflection, and tight shot grouping. If you're loading ammunition for competition or long-range hunting where every inch of bullet performance matters, these 500-count boxes give you the consistency and aerodynamic advantage that serious competitors rely on.
What sets the RDF line apart is its optimized design. The compound ogive profile and extended boattail work together to reduce drag and boost ballistic coefficient—the metric that determines how efficiently a bullet cuts through air. This translates directly to flatter shooting and less horizontal drift in crosswind conditions. The design also means these bullets seat smoothly and reliably in your reloading press, saving time and frustration at the bench.
Another hallmark of RDF match bullets is the precision of the meplat—the flat tip at the apex of the hollow point. Nosler holds these to exacting tolerances with minimal variation, so you won't need to point or trim tips before loading. That attention to consistency carries through to how they perform downrange, helping you build loads that shoot groups as tight as your technique allows.
Whether you're fine-tuning a .243 Winchester for match day or building precision ammunition for a dedicated 6mm platform, the RDF line delivers the aerodynamic edge and manufacturing consistency that separates match-grade components from the rest.
| Caliber | 6mm |
| Bullet Diameter | .243" |
| Weight | 105 grains |
| Style | Hollow Point Boat Tail (HPBT) |
| Count per Box | 500 |
These .243" diameter, 105 grain bullets are designed for 6mm rifle cartridges and platforms. Common applications include .243 Winchester, 6mm Creedmoor, and similar 6mm match and hunting rounds. Always verify bullet diameter and weight compatibility with your specific rifle and cartridge before loading.
No. Nosler's RDF match bullets feature consistently small and uniform meplats (the hollow point tip), eliminating the need to point or trim tips prior to loading. This saves time at the bench and ensures uniform bullets go into your press.
Yes. The RDF line is specifically designed for competitive shooters and precision handloaders. The optimized ogive, extended boattail, and tight manufacturing tolerances make them an excellent choice for match ammunition where trajectory and consistency are critical.
Each box contains 500 loose 105 grain .243" diameter RDF HPBT bullets. You will need to supply your own reloading components (brass, primers, powder) to assemble ammunition.
