Nosler
The Nosler M48 Mountain Carbon in 300 Win Mag is a long-range hunting rifle engineered to prove you don't have to sacrifice accuracy, reliability, or your bank account for a genuinely lightweight mountain gun. Built on the proven Nosler M48 action and topped with a 24-inch carbon fiber-wrapped barrel, this rifle delivers sub-MOA accuracy at 6 pounds—light enough to carry all day without feeling like dead weight, but stiff and rigid enough to shoot like a rifle built for serious distance.
The barrel itself is match-grade cut-rifled and wrapped in carbon fiber, a combination that shaves ounces while maintaining the stiffness needed for precision. Glass and aluminum pillar bedding locks the barreled action into a carbon fiber Mountain Hunter stock finished in Shale Gray, and all steel surfaces wear a Tungsten Grey Cerakote finish that stands up to weather and hard use. The 1-in-10 twist rate is optimized for the 300 Win Mag's velocity range, and you get a hinged floorplate with a 3-round magazine capacity, plus a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for suppressor or brake options. A Timney trigger with a two-position safety rounds out the package.
If you hunt elk, mule deer, or other western game where pack-in miles matter and shots can stretch past 400 yards, the M48 Mountain Carbon bridges the gap between ultralight compromise rigs and full-size precision rifles. It's built to handle the 300 Win Mag's recoil and velocity without flinching, and Nosler backs its accuracy guarantee with sub-MOA performance when you feed it Nosler ammunition. At 45 inches overall and balanced like an extension of your arm, this is a rifle that earns its weight in the field.

Yes. The 300 Win Mag is a proven magnum cartridge for elk and other large game, and the M48 Mountain Carbon's match-grade barrel and precise bedding support consistent accuracy at extended range. The lightweight profile makes it practical for high-elevation hunts where pack-in distance is a factor.
The rifle comes with a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle, which is a common suppressor and muzzle brake thread pattern. You can use any suppressor or brake with that threading.
The stock has a 13.5-inch length of pull. If you have a significantly different build or prefer a longer or shorter LOP, you may want to handle the rifle before purchasing or discuss stock modifications with Nosler.
