Nockturnal
The Nockturnal Shift Universal Red Lighted Nock gives bowhunters a reliable way to track arrows in low light or after dark. This three-pack includes red lighted nocks built around a string-activated design that lights up the instant your arrow leaves the bow, then can be switched off with an external button when you need to save battery or stow your gear. Whether you're hunting the last hour of light or need to recover an arrow in the dark, a lighted nock transforms what would otherwise be a lost shot into a recoverable one.
Each nock is molded from impact-resistant polycarbonate and sealed against water and shock—built to survive the rigors of real hunting, not just range sessions. The patented piston-driven contact switch triggers automatically when your bowstring releases, so there's no fumbling with tiny buttons before the shot. When you're done, the external on/off switch lets you kill the light without opening the nock or replacing batteries mid-hunt. With over 20 hours of lithium battery life per nock, you'll get through an entire season on a fresh set, and the long-lasting design means fewer battery changes in the field.
Nockturnal Shift nocks fit several arrow shaft sizes, so compatibility depends on your specific setup. Check your arrow's inner diameter (ID) and bushing style—X (no bushing, .204 ID), H (white bushing, .233 ID), S (gray bushing, .244 ID), and GT (black bushing, .246 ID) are all covered. Each nock weighs approximately 25 grains, a reasonable addition that won't throw off your arrow's tune if you're already running lighted nocks on your other setups.
| Quantity | 3-pack |
| Nock Weight | Approximately 25 grains each |
| Battery Life | 20+ hours (lithium-powered) |
| Activation Method | String-activated (piston-driven contact switch) |
| Off-Switch Type | External mechanical switch |
| Material | Impact-resistant polycarbonate |
| Waterproofing | Waterproof and shockproof |
| Color | Red LED |
| Shaft Compatibility | X (.204 ID, no bushing), H (.233 ID, white bushing), S (.244 ID, gray bushing), GT (.246 ID, black bushing) |
Compatibility depends on your arrow's inner diameter (ID) and bushing design. X nocks fit .204 ID shafts with no bushing; H nocks (white bushing) fit .233 ID shafts; S nocks (gray bushing) fit standard .244 ID carbon arrows; and GT nocks (black bushing) fit .246 ID shafts. Check your arrow's specs or consult your bow setup to confirm the right fit.
Each nock delivers more than 20 hours of battery life on a single lithium battery. Once the battery is depleted, the nock is replaced rather than serviced—that's why the three-pack gives you backup nocks ready to go.
The Shift uses a string-activated design: the nock lights up automatically the instant you release your arrow. There's no manual switch to flip before the shot. You can turn it off afterward using the external on/off button to preserve battery life.
Yes. The Shift nocks are sealed against water and shock, making them reliable in wet conditions and rough terrain.
