The NEMO Battle Light 556 15" handguard with kit is a precision-built upper receiver component designed for shooters who want real estate for optics and accessories on their 5.56 NATO builds. If you're running suppressors, building a specialty rifle, or just tired of cramped fore-ends, NEMO's wide profile delivers the mounting flexibility and heat management that separates purpose-built rifles from assembly-line compromises. This handguard trades nothing—it's engineered for accuracy work and tactical duty alike.
The 15-inch length and 2.22-inch exterior width give you genuine usable real estate without turning your rifle into a hand-warmer. The standout feature is the 1.83-inch inner diameter, which is spacious enough to run many modern under-barrel suppressors without fitment games. That's practical engineering for shooters who don't want to redesign their entire setup around a handguard. M-LOK slots at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions let you mount lights, grips, rail segments, or cable management exactly where you need them. The integrated 12 o'clock rail with engraved T-marks is ready for your scope rings, thermals, or night vision without additional rails or adapter clutter.
Construction is 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with Mil-Spec hard anodize Type III (black finish) for durability in rough conditions. The barrel nut is 7075-T6 aluminum—the stronger alloy—also hard anodized, threaded 1.25-18, and designed to mount with a standard T-15 wrench. Integrated rotation-limited sling mounts are steel quick-disconnect points, and stainless fasteners resist corrosion. The mounting system is built for zero-shift stability and minimal weight penalty. This is not a gucci cosmetic piece; it's a working component for serious shooters.
The kit includes the handguard and barrel nut. You'll supply your own T-15 wrench and purple thread locker to spec. If you're assembling a suppressor-ready 5.56 build, upgrading a barreled upper, or stacking features without compromise, the NEMO Battle Light earns its place on your bench.
