The NCStar VISM Deluxe Pistol/Subgun Case in black is a compact carry solution built for AR and AK pistols, subguns, Any Other Weapons, and other firearms under 28 inches in overall length. Whether you're heading to the range, the field, or moving guns between locations, this case delivers rugged protection without the bulk of a full-length rifle case. The 28" × 13" footprint makes it easy to stow in a vehicle, grab from the safe, or pack alongside other gear on an overlanding rig.

VISM, NCStar's higher-end product line launched in 2010, focuses on the features and innovation that serious shooters actually want. This deluxe case uses tough PVC material that stands up to water and chemical exposure—critical for anyone working in wet conditions or storing firearms long-term. The durable construction means your compact platform stays protected, whether you're dealing with humidity, sweat, fuel spills, or storage in less-than-ideal conditions.

At its core, this is a no-nonsense soft case for a specific job: protecting and transporting shorter firearms that don't need a full-size rifle case. If you run a pistol-caliber carbine, an SBR, a subgun platform, or want a dedicated case for AOW configurations, the VISM Deluxe offers weather-resistant protection at a reasonable footprint. The black finish blends into most tactical and hunting setups without drawing attention.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this case fit my AR pistol or SBR?

Yes, if your firearm is under 28 inches in overall length. The case is specifically designed for AR and AK pistols, subguns, Any Other Weapons, and similar compact platforms, as well as some folding rifles.

Is this case waterproof?

The PVC material is water-resistant and chemical-resistant, making it suitable for wet conditions and protection against spills, fuel, and humidity. It's not a hard sealed case, so extended submersion isn't recommended, but it will protect your firearm from rain, moisture, and environmental exposure.

Can I fit a full-length rifle in this case?

No. This case is designed for firearms under 28 inches overall length. For full-size rifles, you'll need a larger rifle case.
