Mustad Hooks
Mustad Wacky Neko offset rings solve a persistent problem for soft-plastic anglers: keeping your bait rigged correctly and lasting through multiple fish. These rings, sold in a 25-count pack of size M, let you rig wacky-style and neko presentations without punching a hole through your plastics every cast. Instead of threading the hook directly through your soft bait—which tears it apart and shortens its lifespan—you slide the ring onto the plastic and hook through the ring itself. This simple approach preserves your lure and keeps it looking natural longer, which means more bites per package of baits.
The offset ring design gives you rigging flexibility. You can adjust where the ring sits on your soft plastic to fine-tune the action and presentation to match conditions or your preference. That adaptability makes these rings useful across different bass fishing situations—from shallow vegetation to open-water drops—without changing your entire setup.
Mustad built these rings with durability as the priority. They're made to handle repeated hooksets, aggressive fish, and the friction of casting without bending or breaking. The size M fits standard soft plastics in the 4–5 inch range, so they pair well with most wacky and neko baits in common rotation. A 25-count pack gives you plenty to stock your tackle box, rotate through as needed, and replace worn rings without running short mid-season.

Size M rings are designed for standard soft plastics in the 4–5 inch range, which covers most common wacky and neko baits in bass fishing.
Instead of hooking directly through the plastic body, the ring slides onto your bait and the hook passes through the ring. This eliminates repeated puncture holes that tear the plastic apart, letting you get more casts and more bites from each lure.
Each pack contains 25 Mustad Wacky Neko offset rings in size M.
Yes. The offset ring design lets you position it at different points along your soft plastic to fine-tune the action and match your presentation preference or fishing conditions.
