Mustad Hooks
The Mustad UP Sabiki Rig in Size 4 with mackerel fish skin is a multi-hook saltwater bait rig built for efficient catches on inshore and nearshore trips. This pre-rigged setup takes the guesswork out of assembling sabiki configurations—each hook and line combination is matched for balance between presentation and landing capability. Whether you're stocking a live well with mackerel, herring, or mullet to use as bait for larger game fish, or targeting small to medium species like snappers, flathead, and mulloway directly, this rig delivers the productivity that makes sabiki fishing effective.
The Size 4 configuration works well in situations where you need multiple feeding opportunities without oversized hooks that scare smaller baitfish. The mackerel fish skin pattern mimics natural forage and triggers aggressive strikes. Nickel hooks resist corrosion in saltwater environments, and the red and glow green beads add attraction in variable light conditions—particularly useful during dawn, dusk, or overcast days when fish rely more heavily on flash and silhouette.
Setup is straightforward: tie the fixed swivel at the rig's top to your main line, attach your weight to the snap swivel at the bottom, and drop. The multi-hook design means you can work several depths or cover more water column with each jig cycle, increasing your odds of connecting with active fish. This rig cuts down on time spent rigging and more time fishing—exactly what you want when conditions are favorable.
