Muddy Outdoors
The Muddy TRX Softshell Pant in Veil Canyon is built for hunters who need reliable, quiet bottoms that move with them from the truck to the stand. These softshell hunting pants balance weather protection with the kind of silent movement that matters when you're closing the distance on game. The brushed tricot outer shell keeps fabric noise to a minimum—crucial when you're within bow range or setting up on a ridge. Offered here as a demo/used pair in size large tall, they're a solid option if you're upgrading your hunt kit without the new-gear price tag.
Weather won't slow you down. The windproof, highly water-resistant construction sheds light rain and handles damp conditions, so a surprise shower or heavy dew doesn't ruin your hunt. Reinforced knees and seat beef up the areas that take the most abuse when you're climbing into a treestand, scrambling over terrain, or spending hours glassed into a ridge. The articulated knees are a game-changer too—they let you move naturally whether you're hiking in or adjusting position in the stand without that restricted feeling cheaper pants trap you in.
Practical details matter in the field. Two zippered cargo pockets and a knife reinforcement pocket keep essentials like rangefinders, calls, or a fixed blade secure and accessible. The adjustable half-zip leg openings are clutch if you need to pull on an extra layer or wool base while you're already suited up—no need to strip down and start over in the cold. This hybrid design gives you flexibility across seasons and weather swings.

Yes. The brushed tricot outer shell is engineered to minimize fabric noise, making these pants a solid choice for close-range hunting where stealth is critical.
The TRX pants are highly water-resistant and handle light rain and damp conditions well. They're designed for the kind of weather you encounter during typical hunt days, though they're not fully waterproof—heavy downpours may eventually wet through.
Absolutely. The adjustable half-zip leg openings let you add base layers or wool bottoms without removing the pants, and the articulated knees give you room to move even when layered.
You're getting the pants themselves. Since this is a demo/used unit, verify the condition details before purchase, and reach out to our team if you have specific questions about wear or function.
