The Muddy TRX Softshell Pant in Mossy Oak Bottomland is a purpose-built hunting pant engineered for serious hunters who spend long hours in stands, blinds, and rough terrain. Built with a brushed tricot outer shell, these softshell hunting pants deliver the silent movement that matters when you're within earshot of game. The windproof and highly water-resistant construction handles light rain and damp field conditions without the noise or restriction of traditional rain gear, letting you stay comfortable and undetected through unpredictable weather.
Where these pants separate from basic camo bottoms is in the details that matter after hours in the field. Reinforced knees and seat construction stand up to the punishment of climbing, crawling, and constant repositioning, while articulated knees move with your body rather than against it—crucial when you need to hike steep terrain or pull yourself up a ladder stand. Two zippered cargo pockets keep small essentials secure, and a dedicated knife reinforcement pocket puts your blade exactly where you need it. The half-zip leg openings are genuinely useful: when temperatures drop or you need to layer up mid-hunt without leaving the stand, you can adjust them without undressing completely.
Available in Mossy Oak Bottomland camo and Medium Tall sizing, the TRX Softshell Pant handles the transition from pre-dawn hike to all-day sit. If you're serious about minimizing noise while staying protected from wind and weather, this is the kind of gear that actually delivers on its promises.

Yes. The brushed tricot outer shell is specifically designed to eliminate noise during movement, making these pants suitable for hunters who need to stay undetected in close quarters.
The TRX Softshell Pant is highly water-resistant and windproof, handling light rain and damp conditions effectively. For sustained heavy rain, a dedicated rain layer would be more appropriate.
Half-zip leg openings allow you to open the lower leg without removing the pants, making it easy to add insulating layers underneath while you're still in the field or stand.
The reinforced knees and seat, articulated knee design, zippered cargo pockets, and knife reinforcement pocket are all built specifically for the demands of hunting—climbing stands, moving through brush, and accessing gear quickly while minimizing noise and movement.
