The Mossberg Patriot Synthetic Vortex Scoped Combo in 6.5 Creedmoor is a ready-to-hunt rifle that pairs a proven action with a solid mid-range optic and comes to you already mounted and bore-sighted. Built for hunters who want to spend their money on ammunition and field time rather than piecing together components, this combo delivers a complete rifle setup straight out of the box. The 6.5 Creedmoor has earned its place in the hunting world for flat trajectory, manageable recoil, and effective energy at extended distances—making it a smart choice whether you're after deer, elk, or running long-range drills at the range.

The Patriot's synthetic stock keeps things lightweight and hassle-free in variable weather, while the matte blued barrel resists glint and corrosion. The fluted barrel sheds weight without sacrificing rigidity, and the 1:8 twist rate is optimized for the 6.5 Creedmoor's heavier match and hunting projectiles. You get a 5+1 magazine capacity—five rounds in the magazine plus one in the chamber—which is plenty for hunting applications and gives you good firepower without excess bulk. At 7.5 pounds and 42.75 inches overall, it's nimble enough to carry through timber or glass from a rest, and the fixed 13.75-inch length of pull fits most shooters off the shelf.

The included Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm scope is no beginner-grade optic; Vortex's reputation for durability and clarity in the field is well earned, and a 3-9 magnification range covers everything from close-quarters hunting to 300+ yard shots with authority. For a first rifle in this caliber or a dependable second gun that won't let you down, the Patriot Synthetic Vortex Combo removes the guesswork and gets you afield faster.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this rifle come with the scope already mounted?

Yes. The Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm scope is included and factory-mounted on the Patriot Synthetic Combo. It's bore-sighted and ready to fine-tune at the range, so you won't need to buy an optic separately.

Is the 6.5 Creedmoor a good choice for hunting?

Absolutely. The 6.5 Creedmoor delivers an excellent balance of velocity, energy retention, and recoil management. Its accuracy potential and efficient ballistics make it effective on medium to large game at hunting ranges, and it's equally at home on the precision rifle range.

What's included in the box?

You receive the Mossberg Patriot rifle with the Vortex Crossfire II scope mounted, ready to shoot. The rifle includes the magazine; check the owner's documentation for any additional accessories or components.

Will the 13.75-inch length of pull fit most shooters?

The fixed 13.75-inch LOP accommodates most adult shooters comfortably. If you have a significantly longer or shorter reach, you may want to measure your ideal pull length before purchase or consider aftermarket stock options for a custom fit.
