Mossberg
The Mossberg 590R is a modern tactical pump-action shotgun built on decades of reliable pump-action engineering. This 12-gauge 3" chamber model combines traditional strength with contemporary features designed for serious shooters—whether you're running drills at the range, setting up for home defense, or working through practical shotgun courses. The 590R isn't a reinvention; it's a refinement of what works, wrapped in a platform that accepts AR-pattern accessories and adjusts to fit your needs.
What sets the 590R apart is its ergonomic approach to the tactical shotgun format. The ambidextrous rotary safety selector puts controls within reach regardless of your shooting hand. An integrated heat shield combines with the 18.50" barrel in a single unit, reducing complexity while keeping your hands safe during extended shooting. The enlarged, beveled loading port and exposed follower make feeding intuitive and visible—details that matter when you're working under pressure. A Picatinny rail along the top is ready for optics or iron sights, and the stock features five positions of adjustment to dial in your length of pull, so it fits your frame and your gear.
The 590R handles like a shotgun should: dual extractors, positive steel-to-steel lockup, twin action bars, and an anti-jam elevator keep the action smooth and reliable through thousands of rounds. The 6+1 capacity (six in the tube, one in the chamber) is standard for this class. This OD Green Cerakote finish version pairs a tough receiver with the same durable coating on the heat shield, complemented by a black synthetic stock with Magpul MOE+ grip and interchangeable recoil pad. The 2-position QD mounting ports let you attach slings your way.
Whether you're stepping into the tactical shotgun world or adding a versatile 12-gauge to your collection, the 590R delivers genuine functionality without unnecessary bulk or complexity.
