The Mission First Tactical Battlelink Extreme Duty Minimalist Stock is a mil-spec replacement stock engineered to handle serious recoil from larger-caliber platforms—think 12-gauge tactical shotguns or 7.62×51 AR-10s—without sacrificing the nimble profile shooters want on lighter 5.56 builds. If you're running a piston gun, a magnum-fed shotgun, or any rifle that demands a stock tough enough to survive years of hard use, this is the kind of gear that earns its place in your safe.

MFT built the Extreme Duty on its proven Minimalist platform, but reinforced the backbone where it matters. The buffer tube connection uses a modular plunger system with a metal chassis underneath—no plastic flex when you're firing heavy loads. The angled rubberized buttpad is removable and textured to lock in during a fast shoulder transition, and the upper section is shaped to give you solid cheek weld contact when you need it. Sling attachment options include multiple QD slots and single-point mounting positions across the rear and sides, so you can rig it however your setup demands.

At 8.5 ounces and designed as a direct slide-on swap for your existing mil-spec buffer tube, this is a no-fuss upgrade. The Scorched Dark Earth finish blends into most tactical builds, and that single M-LOK port opens the door to mounting accessories if you want to add more capability down the line. Whether you're a competitive shooter, a serious hunter, or someone who just refuses to compromise on durability, the Battlelink Extreme Duty delivers the rugged simplicity Bosque customers expect.

Frequently Asked Questions

What calibers and firearms is this stock compatible with?

The Battlelink Extreme Duty is mil-spec sized and designed to work on any platform with a standard 1.148" diameter receiver extension. It's built to handle the recoil of larger-caliber firearms like 12-gauge tactical shotguns and 7.62×51 AR-10s, but it's equally at home on 5.56 platforms. If your rifle or shotgun uses a mil-spec buffer tube, this stock will fit.

Do I need any special tools to install this stock?

The Battlelink Extreme Duty is a slide-on replacement for your existing mil-spec buffer tube—no modifications needed. Installation is straightforward and requires only basic tools typically found in any gunsmith's kit.

What's included with the stock?

You receive the stock with its angled rubberized buttpad pre-installed. The pad is removable if you want to swap it out with other options.

How does this stock compare to a collapsible stock in terms of weight and profile?

At 8.5 ounces, the Battlelink Extreme Duty delivers a minimalist profile without the extra bulk of a collapsible mechanism. It sacrifices adjustability for a compact, fixed-length design that keeps your rifle nimble and reduces potential points of failure during hard use.
