Missile Baits
The Missile Head Banger Jig is a 1/2oz casting jig built around a distinctive triangular head design that powers through rocky structure and irregular terrain with serious efficiency. This is Missile Baits' collaboration with Ike, combining proven jig-fishing technique with Missile's track record for clean, functional tackle. The Brown Purple Passion color works as a versatile option for bass in stained to moderately clear water, matching crawfish and other natural forage in most conditions.
What sets the Head Banger apart is its geometry and practical features. The triangular head shape isn't just for show—it digs into rocks and snags without hanging up the way rounder heads do, letting you fish confidence in heavy cover. The weedguard is precisely angled to protect your trailer while staying out of the hook's way, and the cone-shaped bait keeper keeps your soft plastic trailer locked in place through repeated casts and fish.
You get a custom VMC 5/0 hook, which is sharp out of the box and holds up under repeated casting and hard-fighting bass. This jig works for standard flipping and pitching to laydowns and brush, but also shines on the bottom-contact retrieve where its head design makes it feel different to the fish and more efficient in your hands.
