The Midwest Industries 34mm QD Scope Mount brings fast, reliable scope changes to your rifle without breaking zero. Built for shooters who need to swap optics between rifles or stow a scope quickly without tools, this quick-detach mount combines precision engineering with a smooth, confident operating lever that won't rattle or shift once locked down. The 1.93" height and 1.5" offset geometry position your scope for co-witness capability and ergonomic cheek weld, making it equally at home on a modern AR, a precision bolt gun, or a designated marksman rifle.

What sets Midwest's design apart is the multi-faceted adjustment nut—you dial in the exact clamping tension you need by hand, no wrench required. That means you can fine-tune the mount to your rail's tolerances, whether your receiver is machined to mil-spec or running tighter. The Elite Defense QD lever operates smoothly without the creep or slop common in cheaper detach systems, and the mechanism won't mar your rail or create the "peening" marks that weaken aluminum over time.

Machined from 6061 aluminum and hard-coat anodized for durability in the field, this mount is built to return to zero repeatedly—critical if you're running it as a primary mount or swapping between setups. It accommodates scopes with tubes up to 34mm diameter and objective bells as large as 56mm, giving you flexibility across most modern optics. The compact, low-profile design keeps your sight picture natural and your scope mounted close to the bore.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this mount fit my rifle's Picatinny rail?

Yes. The mount is designed to work with standard Picatinny rails, including those not machined to exact mil-spec tolerances. The tool-free adjustment nut lets you fine-tune clamping tension to match your specific rail.

What size scopes work with this 34mm mount?

This mount is machined for 34mm scope tubes. It accommodates objectives up to 56mm diameter without interference.

Does the QD lever need to be adjusted with a wrench?

No. The multi-faceted tension nut adjusts by hand alone. You can dial in the clamping force you want without any tools, making it simple to tune the lever to your preference or rail fit.

Will swapping scopes on this mount damage my zero?

Midwest machines these mounts to precision standards for repeatable return-to-zero performance. The smooth, controlled QD lever and robust clamping design minimize shift between mount and removal cycles—ideal for shooters who rotate optics between firearms.
