The Midwest Industries QD Spacer Plate for Ruger PC9 is a smart upgrade if you run a sling on your Ruger PC Carbine and want solid, repeatable attachment points without the rattle of cheap plastic. This aluminum stock plate replaces the factory spacer at the rear of the receiver and gives you three QD sockets—two on the sides and one underneath—so you can position your sling exactly how you need it, whether that's left-side, right-side, or centered for two-point carry. Unlike the OEM plastic piece, this one is built to last and machined here in the USA from billet aluminum, then treated with a hardcoat-anodized black finish that shrugs off hard use.
Installation is straightforward: it uses the factory stock bolts already on your PC9, so you don't need any special tools or additional hardware. The design is slick and minimal—no sharp edges, no snag points—and at just 3.2 ounces it adds virtually nothing to your rifle's weight. The hardcoat anodize is tougher than standard anodizing, which means it'll hold up to the dings and scratches that come with real-world hunting or range time.
This plate is built specifically for the newer Ruger PC9 TakeDown models, so make sure you're running one of the current variants before ordering. If you've been frustrated with the OEM spacer shifting or squeaking, or if you just want better attachment flexibility for your sling setup, this is a no-brainer bolt-on improvement.
