The Midwest Industries Minimalistic Side Folding Stock in ODG offers a no-frills, high-strength option for AR platform rifles where compact storage or transport matters. Built from hard coat anodized 6061 aluminum, this side-folding stock prioritizes rigidity and durability without unnecessary bulk. It's engineered for shooters and operators who need a collapsible design that stays rock-solid when deployed, whether you're running a shorter AR pistol, a precision rifle that travels, or a rifle optimized for vehicle carry.

The folding mechanism relies on a heavy-duty side-fold frame constructed from 4140 heat-treated steel with a full-length locking lug, ensuring maximum structural integrity. The steel clamp features large surface engagement for a positive, secure lock in both folded and extended positions. Configuration is flexible—you can set it up for right or left folding to match your ergonomic preference and shooting style. The stock also includes five QD (quick-detach) sling attachment points, giving you mounting versatility for sling systems without hunting for adapters.

Comfort is handled by Midwest's own polymer cheek piece and rubber butt pad, which provide a softer interface than bare aluminum without adding significant weight or complexity. The complete assembly tips the scales at 15.7 ounces—manageable for most setups. Steel components are mag phosphate finished for corrosion resistance. When folded, the stock adds just 0.75 inches to your firearm's length; extended, it adds 9.25 inches. Manufactured in the USA and backed by Midwest Industries' lifetime warranty, this is a straightforward, dependable choice for serious shooters who value function over gadgetry.
