The Midwest Industries Combat Lightweight AR-15 handguard in 12.625" delivers a slim, rugged platform for shooters who want minimal weight without sacrificing modularity. This one-piece free-float design pairs a slim profile with genuine utility: you get Picatinny rail on top for your optics or irons, M-LOK slots on all four sides for accessories, and two integral QD sling sockets for quick attachment. Built from 6061 aluminum with Type 3 hard-coat anodization, it's tough enough for duty use and field work, yet light enough that you'll notice the difference on long days afield.

Installation is straightforward. The package includes a patented 4140 heat-treated torque plate, barrel nut, screws, and wrench—everything you need to get it on the gun. The slim 1.5" outer and 1.3" inner diameter keep sight lines tight and controls within easy reach. All edges are fully dehorned and deburred, so you won't catch your hand or gear moving the rifle around. At 8.7 ounces for this 12.625" model, it's genuinely lightweight without the premium price tag that often comes with that claim.

This is a purpose-built handguard for AR-15 shooters who run modern attachment systems. Whether you're setting up a 3-gun rifle, a hunting AR, or a range gun, the Combat's balance of weight, modularity, and durability makes it a solid choice. Made in the USA and backed by a Midwest Industries lifetime warranty, it's built to last.
