Lever-action rifles have been working guns for over a century, and they still outperform modern platforms in rough country and tight spaces. The Midwest Industries M-LOK Aluminum Handguard for Marlin 336/1894/1895 brings modern accessory compatibility to these classics without permanent modifications. Built from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished in matte black hardcoat anodize, this handguard gives you a mounting platform for tactical lights, lasers, and other gear—all while keeping weight and bulk to a minimum. It's the kind of upgrade that makes a proven hunting rifle even more versatile without changing what makes it work.

Installation is straightforward and reversible, so you can return your rifle to original spec whenever you want. The design respects the lines of lever guns that have earned their reputation in bear country and beyond, adding just 6 ounces and fitting cleanly on rifles with a forend cap. The handguard ships with a 5-slot Picatinny rail section for additional mounting flexibility, and includes a forward sling swivel stud compatible with standard hunting sling attachments. Whether you're upgrading a 336 for general hunting, a 1894 for close-range work, or running a 1895 in serious game country, this is a practical way to modernize without sacrificing the simplicity that makes lever actions so reliable.

Midwest Industries engineered this with the same approach they bring to AR handguards: lightweight, durable, and purpose-built. The M-LOK mounting system is industry standard, so your accessory options are wide open. This is a genuine upgrade for a timeless platform—rare in the lever-action world, and worth the consideration if you're looking to add capability to a rifle that already does the job right.
