If you're building or upgrading an AR-15 and want a crisp, predictable trigger without the gunsmith visit, the Midwest Industries Drop In Trigger with Anti Walk Pins is a no-fuss upgrade that works straight out of the box. This curved trigger is designed as a single-stage drop-in for standard small-pin AR-15 lower receivers (.154" pin diameter), combining a 3.5-pound pull weight with a clean, consistent break and short reset—exactly what shooters want when speed and accuracy matter equally.
The build quality here is solid. Midwest Industries machines the internal components from S7 tool steel with black-nitride finish for durability and corrosion resistance, while the aluminum cassette housing gets a blue anodized coating. The anti-walk pins keep everything locked in place, eliminating one of the most common headaches with drop-in triggers. Minimal overtravel and a quick reset help you get back on target faster, whether you're at the range, running drills, or hunting.
Installation is straightforward—no custom fitting required if your lower is standard. The trigger works with most AR-15 and AR .308 lower receivers. Midwest Industries offers both 60-degree and 90-degree selector options to match your setup. One important note: don't adjust the center set screw; it's factory-tuned for the trigger's performance.
| Trigger Type | Single-stage curved |
| Pull Weight | 3.5 lbs |
| Pin Size | .154" (small-pin) |
| Internal Material | S7 tool steel, black-nitride finish |
| Housing Material | Aluminum, blue anodized |
| Selector Options | 60-degree or 90-degree |
| Compatibility | AR-15 and AR .308 small-pin lowers |
| Installation | Drop-in (no gunsmithing) |
Yes, as long as your lower uses small-pin configuration (.154" pin diameter). The trigger is designed as a drop-in for standard AR-15 and AR .308 lowers. If your lower is large-pin, this trigger won't fit.
No. This is a true drop-in trigger—installation requires no modification to your lower receiver. Just remove the factory trigger assembly and drop this one in.
The trigger assembly comes with anti-walk pins to secure it in your lower receiver.
The selector angle determines how far the safety lever moves. The 60-degree option has a shorter throw; the 90-degree option is the standard full throw. Choose based on your preference and lower design compatibility.
