The Midwest Industries 30 Caliber Blaster Diverter is a linear-design muzzle device engineered to redirect muzzle blast forward, away from the shooter and nearby positions. Built from tool steel with a durable phosphate finish, this 5/8x24-threaded device is compatible with .30 caliber pistols and rifles configured for that thread pitch. It's a straightforward solution for shooters looking to manage blast signature without adding length or complexity to their setup.

Whether you're running a short-barrel rifle, a precision pistol build, or a compact defensive carbine, a quality muzzle diverter can make shooting more comfortable—especially in confined spaces or team environments where blast control matters. The Midwest Industries design keeps things simple: no springs, no moving parts, just effective forward-directed deflection. At 1.75 inches long and 4.1 ounces, it adds minimal footprint or weight to your barrel.

Midwest Industries backs this device with a lifetime warranty and manufactures it entirely in the USA. The package includes a new crush washer, so you're ready to install out of the box.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this work on my .308 rifle?

Yes, if your barrel is chambered in .30 caliber and has a 5/8x24 thread pitch. Check your barrel specs or consult the rifle's manual to confirm the thread pitch before ordering.

What's a linear blast diverter, and how is it different from a muzzle brake?

A linear diverter channels blast energy forward rather than using angled ports to manage recoil. It's designed primarily for blast control and shooter/bystander comfort, whereas a traditional muzzle brake uses directional ports to reduce felt recoil. Both serve different purposes depending on your goal.

Is the crush washer necessary for installation?

The crush washer is included and designed to help with proper installation. Follow the manufacturer's guidelines or consult a gunsmith if you're unsure about installation technique.

Is this device made in the USA?
