The Viridian RFX-42 is a compact reflex sight built for shooters who demand a lightweight, dependable green dot optic on pistols, shotguns, and rifles. This Shield RMSc-footprint sight pairs a clean 3.5 MOA dot with motion-activated power and intelligent battery management—the kind of thoughtful engineering that keeps you in the fight without the fuss. Whether you're running a compact carry gun, a duty pistol, or a modern rifle platform, the RFX-42 is designed to mount quickly and hold zero through real-world conditions.

The green dot delivers faster target acquisition than red in bright sunlight and clearer definition in low light, giving you genuine versatility. Ten brightness levels (eight visible plus two night-vision compatible) let you dial the dot to any environment—from a dawn hunt to indoor range work to nighttime low-light scenarios. Viridian's enclosed emitter design keeps weather, mud, and debris out of the optical path. The instant-on shake-awake feature means your sight is live the moment you need it, and a two-minute auto-shutoff preserves the single CR1620 battery across 28,000 hours of runtime. Fully multi-coated aspherical optics ensure edge-to-edge clarity and parallax-free performance at 25 yards and beyond.

Built from CNC-machined 6061 aluminum with IPX6 waterproofing, the RFX-42 weighs just 0.9 ounces—barely a footprint on your platform. It's the kind of sight that disappears in your setup but never in a fight. The included wrench set, battery, and mounting hardware get you running straight out of the box.
