The Midwest Industries MI 308 High Combat Rail is a 15-inch M-LOK handguard built for AR-10 and modern .308 rifle platforms that demand rock-solid mounting and zero slippage under hard use. This is a no-compromise rail system engineered for shooters running suppressors, night-vision setups, or a full complement of tactical accessories where point-of-impact shift can wreck your zero. The HD designation signals heavy-duty construction: a rigid aluminum body, aggressive anti-rotation design, and mechanical features that keep the handguard locked in place whether you're running magnum cartridges, mounting a laser, or shouldering the gun hard in low light.

Midwest Industries designed this rail around the principle that handguard instability degrades accuracy and wastes your sight picture. The 4140 barrel nut is oversized for lateral stiffness, and the patented torque plate prevents forward creep—a real problem on heavier uppers where thermal cycling or recoil impulse can loosen cheaper mounts. The anti-rotation tabs are machined steel, not stamped pot metal, and positioned to resist gun roll and lateral twist. Two QD sockets are integrated for sling attachment without hanging gear off your rail, keeping your sight line and accessory real estate clear.

The 15-inch length strikes a practical balance between handguard material and sight radius, popular among .308 hunters, precision riflers, and competition shooters who want real estate for lights and pressure pads without going ultra-long. Seven sides of M-LOK slots let you configure your setup exactly—leave what you don't need empty, mount what you do without rails that stick out and catch on gear. The 1.750-inch outer diameter and 1.250-inch inner diameter are standard for this class, and the aluminum body is 6061 Hardcoat anodized to handle field wear. Made in the USA with a limited lifetime warranty backing the engineering.
