Meta Tactical Llc
The Meta Tactical Mesa SureShell aluminum carrier for the Benelli M4 shotgun brings modern optics mounting to a proven combat platform. This six-shell carrier pairs a practical onboard ammunition solution with an integrated mount specifically machined for a Trijicon RMR reflex sight—letting you run fast, close-quarters optics without permanent gun modification. If you're building a tactical 12-gauge for home defense, patrol, or dynamic shotgun sports, the Mesa RMR mount eliminates the need for aftermarket Picatinny rails and gives you a clean co-witness setup with your M4's factory ghost ring sights.
Built from 6061-T6 aluminum and hardened with Type 3 anodizing, this carrier handles the recoil and wear of 12-gauge shooting while keeping weight down. The mount itself is precision machined—no stamped or cast parts here—and secures to your receiver via the factory drilled and tapped holes. Installation is straightforward, and you get the advantage of carrying six shells right on the gun, positioned for fast reloads.
Note that the RMR sight itself is not included; you'll source that separately based on your preference for dot size and reticle. The Mesa's engineering assumes you're committed to the RMR platform and want a mount that does one thing exceptionally well.

No. The RMR reflex sight is sold separately. This product provides only the integrated mount for a Trijicon RMR.

The carrier mounts via drilled and tapped holes in your Benelli M4's receiver. Removal is straightforward, but drilling into the receiver is a permanent modification to your shotgun.
