The Mesa Tactical Urbino Tactical Stock is a fixed-length, pistol-grip shotgun stock engineered for shooters who need practical control without traditional stock interference. Designed originally for the Remington 870, the Urbino has become the go-to choice for law enforcement, military operators, and serious tactical shotgun users who work in body armor or bulky gear. Unlike standard shotgun stocks, the Urbino solves a real problem: it keeps your reach manageable when you're layered up, letting you shoulder the gun naturally without the barrel rising out of your sight picture.

Built from injection-molded, glass-filled nylon, the Urbino is tough enough for hard use. The 12.5-inch length of pull is shorter than conventional shotgun stocks, making it ideal for tactical applications where quick target acquisition matters. A soft urethane rubber pistol grip gives you confidence under recoil and in adverse conditions, while the adjustable cheek riser lets you dial in your sight picture for rifles mounted to your shotgun. The stock includes a Limbsaver Buttpad that tames recoil and won't slip on body armor or plate carriers.

Sling-ready out of the box, the Urbino comes equipped with Benelli-style rear sling loops sized for standard 1.25-inch sling webbing, and a QD-style sling swivel anchors to a hole in the lower rear of the stock. If you run a tactical shotgun—whether it's for three-gun competition, home defense, or professional use—the Urbino delivers the control and ergonomics you actually need.

Will the Urbino fit my Remington 870?

The Urbino was originally designed for the Remington 870 platform. Verify compatibility with your specific 870 variant before ordering.

What's the advantage of a 12.5-inch length of pull on a tactical shotgun?

The shorter length of pull is ideal when you're wearing body armor, chest rigs, or heavy clothing. It reduces the reach required to mount the gun naturally, keeping your sight picture stable and your response faster. This design is especially valued in law enforcement and military applications.

The Urbino includes an adjustable cheek riser, which accommodates mounted optics and helps you achieve proper sight alignment without modifying the stock itself.

The Urbino includes Benelli-style rear sling loops sized for 1.25-inch sling webbing, and a QD-style sling swivel that mounts to a hole in the lower rear of the stock.
