The Meprolight FT Bullseye rear sight for Sig Sauer P226 combines fiber optic brightness for daylight shooting with tritium night-sight capability for low-light and no-light situations. This is a single rear-sight design built around a simple, intuitive aiming concept: a central point of focus that lets you acquire the target fast. If you carry a P226 for duty, sport, or home defense, upgrading to this sight gives you genuine versatility without the complexity of a red-dot or the fragility of traditional three-dot sights.

The fiber optic element drinks in ambient light during the day, creating a glowing green aiming point that's impossible to miss in bright conditions. When the sun sets, tritium takes over—no batteries, no electronics, just self-illuminating tritium that's proven in decades of defensive use. The single-point design strips away visual clutter and lets instinct take over under pressure. Because you're focused on one bright spot rather than aligning two or three elements, sight picture and trigger control come naturally, even in high-stress scenarios.

This is a snag-free, low-profile design—no levers, no towers, no sharp edges to catch on clothing or gear. The sight is built to handle the recoil impulse of the P226 shot after shot without losing zero, and it's rated drop- and shockproof for the demands of serious carry or range work. Installation requires sight-pusher tools and some gunsmithing knowledge, so plan on a visit to a gunsmith or armorer if you're not equipped to swap sights yourself.
