Magtech
The Magtech 9mm Luger 147gr JHP Subsonic Range/Training Ammo is purpose-built for shooters who want to run suppressed 9mm without the supersonic crack. At 147 grains—heavy for the caliber—these jacketed hollow points stay subsonic while maintaining the velocity and reliability you need on the range or in training scenarios. Whether you're developing your shooting skills with a suppressed handgun or stocking up for regular practice, Magtech delivers consistent, dependable performance in a 50-round box that won't break the bank.
Subsonic 9mm is the smart choice if you've invested in a suppressor and want to maximize the noise reduction benefit. Standard 9mm loads often break the sound barrier, which means you still get a loud report no matter how good your can is. Magtech's subsonic load solves that problem while keeping the bullet weight heavy enough to cycle reliably through most 9mm firearms, including pistols and PCCs (pistol-caliber carbines). The jacketed hollow point construction ensures controlled expansion and consistent terminal performance, making these rounds suitable for serious training and defensive practice.
Magtech has been in the ammunition business since 1926, and it shows in the consistency and quality control of their loads. These rounds are manufactured to exacting standards so you get the same point-of-impact and function shot after shot—no surprises, no failures to cycle. If you're running a suppressed 9mm and tired of subsonic ammo that's hard to find or priced like gold, Magtech offers a practical, reliable alternative that lets you train hard without the budget hit.

Yes. The 147-grain bullet weight is designed to cycle reliably through standard 9mm firearms, including both semi-automatic pistols and carbines. Magtech manufactures to consistent standards to ensure reliable function.
These rounds are subsonic by design—meaning the bullet velocity is below the speed of sound. This applies whether or not a suppressor is attached, though subsonic ammo is most commonly used with suppressors to maximize noise reduction.
This ammo is sold and described as range and training ammunition. For defensive use, consult the manufacturer's specifications and your local laws, or use ammunition specifically designated and tested for that purpose.
Each box contains 50 rounds of Magtech 9mm Luger subsonic 147gr JHP ammunition.
